Hedge sparrows
31/05/2012 17:07:15 by Paul

Seen for the first time since 2000
in colony fashion in my back
garden. Regular patterns of
behaviour and feeding observed.
Also on four occasion in May 2012,
a pair of blue tits were observed
in the garden (not nesting), but
appeared to be exploring
environment, possibly to establish
suitability for nesting in area.
These birds were observed in the
afternoon when conditions were
sunny. The sparrows are nesting and
rearing young in the garden
vicinity and can be observed
regularly throughout the day and
evening.
