birds changing their diet?
25/05/2011 15:31:00 by C J Bearup

I have been running feeders for about three years. I am noticing this year that habits seem to change. The goldfinches used to go for the nyjer seed but now they ignore it. They prefer sunflower hearts. The sparrows have just started on sunflowers having given up on mixed seed. Neither great tits nor blue are inteested in peaust anymore. It is not just seasonal because I am comparing with the same time last year. Has anyone else observed changes to eating habits?
