Blackbirds knocking.
05/12/2009 10:52:23 by fred east

I've only seen it once. A fledgling blackbird on the ground next to its mother, knocking with its beak on its mothers beak for food. I watched in amazement for about ten minutes before they got fed up and went off for some more food I presume.
The baby didn't poke with its beak but used its head to bring the beak sideways it its mothers beak with a clack.
