I saw a ChiffChaff today at my local nature reserve where I am a Volunteer (Broseley, Shropshire), I thought they would have migrated by now? Maybe the warm weather has allowed them to stay longer to hunt for insects? However, I might keep an eye out for it over the next few weeks, as I read that some ChiffChaffs now winter in this country? Has anyone else recently seen any warblers? I notice that there are still some House Martins locally, flying to their nests in the eves of houses, however all the Swifts have now gone it appears.
